Hips With Lilith, Session 1

Do you want to be resilient, responsive, and stable when you practice yoga?
Join Lilith in an alignment-based class that is a slow, methodical and focused on a safe way of working the hips and legs.
Pain in the hips can have many causes, while we will not be diagnosing issues. You will lean how to recruit and strength build the glutes, a major stabilizer of the hips. As well as avoid extreme end ranges in the hips and limit excessive passive stretching all of which undermine your ability to be pain free and stable in your yoga practice.

SEMI-PRIVATE YOGA WORKSHOPS
Lilith Bailey-Kroll MFA, C-IAYT, E-RYT 500, has over two decades of experience with the therapeutic benefits of yoga, she presents information straight forward and to the point. Working with her you quickly learn that what we practice is not necessarily important, but how we practice is the actual key to creating a healthy body and balance mind-body-spirit.
All workshops are created from evidence-based research that was proven effective. In these workshops you will learn how to identify imbalances in the musculoskeletal system, which affect spinal alignment and posture. You will learn proper alignment in yoga poses to avoid injury, balancing strength and flexibility. The workshop will cover the basic principles of anatomy in order to foster a better understanding of how the bones, joints, and muscles work harmoniously.
