Yin Yoga

We welcome Melissa to Yoga H'om with three special
offerings of Yin Yoga. This beautiful, meditative practice brings your
mind inward while releasing the tightness and tension within the joints.
Seated postures targeting the connective tissue in the areas of the hips,
pelvis and lower spine, are held for anywhere from 1 to 20 minutes providing
students the opportunity to challenge themselves mentally to remain
within. The body responds with a sweet release of tension and a feeling
of soft spaciousness. Suitable for almost all levels of students, Yin
Yoga invites you to go deeper into yourself and challenges you to stay in the
experience. This practice is an excellent way to help you improve
your comfort in seated meditation by nourishing the natural range of motion of
the hips. A Yin yoga class is the perfect antidote
to stress and a great counter balance to more active styles of yoga,
